Moralist serial killer John Kramer – a.k.a Jigsaw – has been dead for a decade. However, when bodies begin to show up that bear his eerily distinctive mark, Detective Halloran (Rennie) and medical examiner Logan (Passmore) suspect that a copycat is at large. Meanwhile, five strangers awake in a remote barn and are forced to take part in a deadly game in which dark secrets are revealed.
After their friend is killed during a shop robbery, four college chums embark on a hiking holiday in rural Sweden in his memory. One of them (Spall) cannot escape his guilt, but when things start to go wrong in the wilderness, it becomes apparent that guilt is not the only thing they should be running from.

In the story, 'It' returns to Derry to every 27-years. IT’s 2017 release will come 27-years after it was first adapted for screens in 1990. Spooky coincidence or mighty clever marketing?
